At Return Church our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit Kids Journey with Jesus!

Here's what to expect when visiting Kids Journey for the first time:

First, find the sign up desk marked Kids Journey. Feel free to ask one of our amazing greeters to escort you to our children's area! There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will answer any questions you have. Your child(ren) will remain in Kids Journey for a time of worship, biblical teaching, fun activities, and snacks through the entirety of the adult service .

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

• Parent/guardian name(s)
• Child's name
• Child's birth date
• Home address
• Phone number
• Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Before Service: You will check-in your child at the available kiosk in the lobby in front of the Kids Journey classroom wing. A Kids Journey volunteer will give you and your child matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you will be texted. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

My name is Perla Epps. My husband Clayton and I serve as leaders in the Children's ministry . We dedicate a lot of time to make sure that our program is aligned with the Bible, and it is full of fun activities for our children. We have three grown adult children, who love God and are very family oriented. I have been teaching 15+ years and I currently teach Pre-K at Christian Academy of Indiana.

Our children are bombarded with social media and inappropriate content everywhere. We live in a world full of confusion, fear and anxiety. 

Our children desperately need to feel safe, loved and accepted. It is heavy in my heart to teach and lead our children to our only hope Jesus Christ our savior. 

Kids Journey is unlike any other program because we teach our children to seek and obtain a personal relationship with God. We teach our children that the Bible is one big story, and our curriculum is a scope and sequence that unites the big story and truths of Scripture as we trace the storyline from Genesis to Revelation. 

At Kids Journey, your child will learn that God loves them, will have a lot of fun, make friends, feel safe and accepted. Your child will love the multiple programs that we offer throughout the year. We can't wait to meet you and your family!
